Delightfully Surprised

After enduring an emotionally tough few years, I have found myself embarking on a journey to discover the power of self-forgiveness, acceptance, and resilience as I seek to transform my life with my two phrases for 2023: “Optimal Health” and “Delightfully Surprised”.

Through the last few years, I have experienced many challenges, like my husband’s diagnosis with A Fib and a few strokes, and the process of selling and buying a new home. I learned it’s important to stand in my own power, to ask for help, and of course, to forgive myself. I also realized that I need to take care of myself first in order to be able to take care of others. I want to use my phrase of “delightfully surprised” to focus on love and joy, and to not be surprised in the same way as before. In order to achieve this, I want to focus on optimal health, and to be mindful of change and acceptance.

You will learn:

  1. How did my phrases for the year help me through a difficult time of grief, shock, and change?
  2. What tips can be learned from a journey of self-forgiveness and self-acceptance?
  3. How can we use the reticular activating system in our brain to bring joy and be delighted?
